A beautiful forest track leading walkers to the top of Bluff Hill.
2375 Bluff Highway,
Greenpoint
This is an easily negotiated and well graded walking track and boardwalk that is accessible to wheelchairs. A beautiful and scenic walk, the 15 minute one way track follows the shoreline to Greenpoint, providing awe-inspiring panoramic views across Bluff Harbour.
The walk takes you past some of New Zealand's oldest rocks and a thriving wildlife community. The end of the track at Greenpoint is an excellent picnic spot and there is also a viewing platform that overlooks a ship graveyard and identifies some of Bluff Harbour's historic landmarks.
The walkway begins opposite the Greenpoint Cemetry and is well signposted on State Highway 1 on your way to and from Bluff.
