ALPACA SOCIAL CLUB

When
7.30pm
Where

Musical adventurers Craig Denham (accordion, keyboards, whistles and vocals) and Jon Sanders (gazouki (bozouki/guitar hybrid), bass and vocals) are members of pioneering NZ world, folk and jazz group Beyondsemble. Performing on different instruments and across a multitude of styles, they are something of a live phenomenon. With strong roots in acoustic music, celtic traditional, gypsy swing and various world music styles, Craig and John are always ready to take live music into unexpected places with skill, humour, passion and a sense of adventure. They tour extensively in Europe, as they share similar eclectic musical tastes, and are usually in the same hemisphere at the same time.

In November and December, The Alpaca Social Club will be on the road launching their new album and playing ‘the music they love from wherever that comes from’, including influences of Celtic, Balkan, Middle Eastern, Reggae, Soul, Americana and Gypsy swing origins. Come and be beguiled.
