Riverton Heritage Harvest Festival

10:00am - 4:00pm

The objectives of this event are to raise awareness of what sustainable living is, to teach, and to create a networking space for people to connect. South Coast Environment Society is developing traditions and celebration surrounding growing and harvesting food, with the goal of “Keeping alive the diversity of skills and species from the past for future generations for food resilience.” For these reasons, the festival will have a range of educational and sales stalls which are strictly harvest and traditional living themed, as well as workshops for those with specific interest. A key value is that this is done in a way that keeps the romance of heritage alive, to continue to inspire.
