Invercargill Brewery’s flavoursome beers and ciders are consistent winners at Australasian beer awards. Head brewer Steve Nally has a reputation for innovation, combing home-grown ingredients with traditional beer styles – creating distinctly New Zealand brews like Pitch Black Stout, Wasp Honey Pilsner and B.man, a New Zealand strong Pilsner; other’s are more international in origin, Stanley Green (an English-styled pale ale) and the ultra-crisp Nally’s Cider hark to Somerset. The range also includes seasonal specials, Smokin’ Bishop, Men N Skurrts, Boysenbeery (fruit beer) and Sa!son. Invercargill Brewery Bottlestore is craft beer oasis, with 10 taps and bottled beer from breweries throughout New Zealand and overseas, it’s open 11am to 5.30pm Monday to Thursday, 11am to 6pm Friday and from 11am to 4pm Saturday; brewery tours for groups of 15 or more are available by arrangement.
