Porter's Lodge

194 Dee Street, Invercargill

A quaint cottage believed to be the oldest house still standing in Invercargill, built circa 1866. The Porter's Lodge was once a wing of the maternity hospital, and then it was used as the Citizen's Advice Bureau for a number of years. It is an important historic place in Invercargill that is known by many who have a story tied to it.
