The Sandy Point Mountain Bike trails have been home to the Southland Mountain Bike club since the 1990's. 16km of purpose built grade 3 trails run amongst the pine forest. Whilst lacking in elevation the flat terrain with plenty of short pinch climbs offer a great workout for novice to experienced mountain bikers. Pedestrian access and dog-walking is not permitted on the mountain bike trails and make sure you check the map as some trails are one way.
