Waihopai School offers a well-resourced primary school based in Invercargill and neighbour to the beautiful Queens Park. Catering to children from 5 to 12 years of age, the school boasts large grounds and a commitment for students, staff and families to learn together and strive for excellence. Embracing diversity and disability, the school has a Special Needs facility where International students with physical or learning disabilities can enrol with the support of an accompanying parent or caregiver.
International students also receive tailored education to support their emersion into the Southland community with a one to one programme lead by an ESOL tutor designed to support the development of students’ oral and written English language.
