Travelling by air
Invercargill Airport is one of the most accessible airports in New Zealand, only 3km or a 5 minute drive from the city centre. Several rental car companies are located inside the airport terminal for all your rental car needs.
Air New Zealand operates regular scheduled direct flights between Invercargill, Wellington and Christchurch. Regular scheduled flights to Stewart Island are operated by Stewart Island Flights from Invercargill Airport.
