A superb introduction for visitors to the Island, a real must do! We provide a comprehensive overview of Island life, what we do and how we live with some historic information. We show you places of interest and take you to stunning scenic spots including Observation Rock, Mill Creek and Lee Bay at the entrance of Rakiura National Park.
We include two short 5 minute walks with excellent photo opportunities. Your Driver / Guide will help answer your questions and make this an enjoyable and rewarding tour.
We offer two options: 1.5 hours or 2 hours. More places visited and more information provided on the longer tour.
Operated in mini-vans and for small groups of maximum 10 persons, so you receive a more personal experience.

Some commonly seen birds include:
Land birds: Kaka, tui, bellbird, tomtit, fantail, red-crowned parakeet, wood pigeon.
Shore birds: Paradise shelduck, mallards, pied and variable oystercatchers, red-billed gull, black-backed gull, kingfisher.
FLORA
Regenerating, native mixed hardwood-podocarp forest with coastal species.
