Miss Vintage Lighting specialises in second-hand Art Deco, Retro, Industrial and one off designer light shades and lamps. They also stock other vintage home décor items such as mirrors and eclectic items for the man cave. But be in quick, items don’t last long!

Whether you are after second hand building good for your home or looking to step back in the past for a few hours, Demolition World is suitable for both. A place like no other, this hidden Invercargill gem is both a shop that sells quality second-hand house materials as well as a village that is entirely constructed from demolished buildings and recycled items.

You can’t miss the $5 fill a bag rack at the Invercargill SPCA op shop. A great way to restock your wardrobe on a budget. This op shop is definitely on the cheaper side as far as op shops in Invercargill go. While you are there don’t miss the upstairs library section. Just be careful on the staircase!

Windsor Salvation Army

If you are after a bit of fancy then the Windsor op shop is for you. Known for attracting people from all parts of Southland this small Salvation Army op shop is very choosy on what they put out on their shop floor so you know what there is is the best of the best. Designer labels, merino underlayers, school uniforms, the Windsor store is the cream de la crem of clothing op shops in Southland and they know it. Prices are higher but that is because you are paying for quality and all money goes to a good cause!

The ladies in the Red Cross Shop have done a wonderful job in the clothing department which has been meticulously sorted into sizes, styles and colours. This store makes clothes op shopping a breeze if you know exactly what you are after. It is a great place to check out as they often have a $1 rack.
