Food & Drink in Bluff
Bluff is seafood central. Many varieties of quality fish and shellfish are gathered from the surrounding ocean and can be enjoyed in local restaurants and cafes, including rock lobster, blue cod, and of course - oysters!
Grown slowly in the cool, clean waters of Foveaux Strait, Bluff oysters are a true New Zealand delicacy and are renowned for their succulence and flavour. Every year in May, Bluff becomes a vibrant hub as the Bluff Oyster and Food Festival celebrates this southern delight with a daylong event full of great local food, entertainment, competitions and much more.
